LOW STRETCH FABRIC

Low stretch aerial fabric is recommended for beginning aerialists and is often is preferred by beginners and professionals alike for ease of climbing and solid wraps. They are machine washable and should be dried on medium/low heat. Please only use front loading washing/drying machines with aerial fabric.

Many studios will also refer to this fabric as “non stretch” but it does have some give and we believe “non stretch” is a misnomer. It is 110″ wide and made from 40 denier 100% polyester tricot. It has a shiny finish, catches the light beautifully, and is a great performance fabric. This low stretch fabric is ideal for aerial yoga hammocks and slings as well.

    I love these silks! The colors are so vibrant! I got the aqua and purple fabrics and was worried that they wouldn’t be as pretty in person, but WOW! They are even more beautiful than i could hope for!

    I ordered this fabric in green with a full rigging set from AE about a year ago now and am still in love with it. Every time I train people always comment on how much it shimmers in the light. It also is really good at providing grip for mid air moves once you’ve used it for a bit (have a lil sweat invested) and not too slippery. Definitely ordering this type again when my current one is finished. 🙂

    I ordered this fabric in gunmetal. Super happy, beautiful shine, they are glittering. Perfect grip, and even though it is a low Stretch it is very nice for drops because of its thickness (which, at first, worried me a bit but just needed a bit time to get used to). This silk is hanging in my living room and I love it! Pretty sure you will love it too! Silks are as shiny as on the pictures.

    I bought this assuming it would have low stretch as advertised but it has zero stretch whatsoever and is almost to thick to work with, would only recommended if you don’t want
